Library Code of Conduct
To maintain a quiet, clean, and respectful environment for all users, please observe the following rules when entering and using the library:
Wear appropriate attire and maintain respectful behavior. Keep noise to a minimum.
Only beverages in covered containers are allowed. Food—especially items with strong odors—is not permitted inside the library.
Eating is allowed only in designated areas to avoid damaging materials, equipment, and disturbing other users.
The library maintains a quiet study environment. Set mobile phones and electronic devices to silent mode.
After reading, place books and other materials on the nearest book trolley. Do not re-shelve items yourself.
Handle books, equipment, and furnishings with care. Marking, damaging, or removing pages from materials is strictly prohibited.
Handle all collections and equipment with care. Marking, defacing, or damaging library materials or furnishings is prohibited. Do not move furniture without staff authorization.
Take all personal belongings with you when leaving. Personal items must not be used to occupy or reserve seats.
Smoking and the use of open flames are strictly prohibited within the library building.
Posting notices, using professional photography/videography equipment, or conducting live streaming within the library is prohibited unless officially approved.
