Book Donations

The University Library warmly welcomes donations of books, manuscripts, and other documents from faculty, students, alumni, social organizations, and people from all walks of life. Donated books will be acknowledged and listed on the library’s website under the “Donations” section after registration. In line with the principle of making the best use of resources, the library reserves the right to determine whether to include donated items to the collection based on relevant criteria. Once donations are received, the library assumes full ownership and disposal rights.

Criteria for Accepting Book Donations

Due to the scope and space limitations of the library’s collection, donations will be selectively reviewed. Donated books must meet the following criteria to be considered for inclusion:

1. Comply with the Copyright Law of the People’s Republic of China and other relevant laws and regulations;

2. Are related to the university’s disciplines, academic programs, teaching, research, and educational mission;

3. Are officially published works. Non-publication materials with significant academic or archival value may be accepted on a case-by-case basis;

4. Are in good physical condition and suitable for use.

Donation Certificates

To express our gratitude for donors’ generosity, the library will issue a donation certificate upon receipt of the materials, provided that the donor’s contact information is available.
