1.3 Graduating or departing students/staff must return all borrowed items and complete clearance procedures.
2.1 Eligible users may borrow an unlimited number of general print books. The initial loan period is 45 days and may be renewed up to two times, for a maximum total loan period of 135 days.
2.2 Renewal begins from the end of the initial loan period. Items reserved by other users cannot be renewed ("reservation-first" policy).
2.3 Users may borrow up to 5 discs or audiovisual items for 15 days. Borrowing and returning must be handled at the service desk.

3.3.2 Users may reserve items that are currently on loan ("On Loan" status). Items available on shelves cannot be reserved.
3.3.3 Reservation Rules:
Reserved items will be held at the service desk for 3 days. Unclaimed items are released to the next user or returned to circulation.
Users may place multiple reservations. Reservations are processed in chronological order.
Users with overdue items cannot place reservations.
Items marked as "Not for Loan" status cannot be reserved.
3.3.4. Reservation Methods:
Reservations must be placed via "My Library" on the library homepage. Before using the online reservation service, readers should complete their personal information and ensure that a valid email address is provided; otherwise, they will not be able to receive notification emails.
4.1 Overdue fines: RMB 2 per item per day. When fines reach RMB 20, borrowing privileges are automatically suspended until all overdue items are returned and fines paid.
4.2 If the due date falls within winter or summer vacation, the loan period extends to the 10th day of the following semester.
4.3 Users with special circumstances affecting timely return may apply for fine waiver through email, subject to approval.
5.1 Borrowers must protect library materials from damage. Marking, annotating, altering, or cutting pages is prohibited.
5.2 Lost items must be reported immediately. Overdue fines (if any) are calculated up to the date of the report. If the item cannot be recovered, the user may provide an identical edition or an approved newer edition as a replacement.
5.3 If no suitable replacement is available, compensation of 1.5 to 3 times the original price will be charged, depending on the specific circumstances.
