Database Introduction
CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform (Academic) is an authoritative and advanced scientific research platform developed by CAS, a division of American Chemical Society. It provides access to the world's most comprehensive and reliable collection of scientific research information in chemistry and related disciplines. A global network of expert scientist curate and aggregate the world's scientific patent and journal content daily and make it fully discoverable through the advanced retrieval technology provided by CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform (Academic). This ensures researchers have the most current and important research advance. CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform (Academic) aggregates scientific literature and patents published by thousands of journals and more than 100 patent authorities, in more than 50 different languages from more than 180 different countries. It covers multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary scientific and technological knowledge, including chemistry, biology, pharmaceuticals, materials, food, applied chemistry, chemical engineering, agronomy, polymer, physics, etc. The literature sources include international journals, patents, conference proceedings, dissertations, books, technical reports, comments, preprints, network resources, etc.
CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform (Academic) integrates three solutions: CAS SciFinder, CAS Analytical Methods and CAS Formulus.
User Guide
Users must use their university email address (@eitech.edu.cn) to register for a personal account and password. After successful registration, log in with your personal account and password within the campus network IP ranges to use the database.

1. CAS SciFindern logs out automatically after 20 minutes of inactivity.
2. Solutions of CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform (Academic) are frequently updated, you can find the detailed information on CAS website (www.cas.org) or your library page.
3. CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform (Academic) can be only used for academic research. Please protect the intellectual properties and properly use the platform. Please do not share your account with others or use it in any institute off your campus. Excessive downloads are prohibited. 4. During the registration, please fill in your complete 'Last Name' and 'First Name', or the account will be disabled soon.
5. Please complete the registration on campus. If you need to register off campus, please contact the library.
